Period full polished leather, smooth spine beautifully and richly gilt decorated and lettered, covers outlined in gilt rule, marbled end papers. Text block sound & tight, moderately spotted and foxed.

Lovely mid-19th century binding, well preserved with fine age patina.

Book remains well preserved and very attractive on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
