844 pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout. Complete year's run, 52 issues. 

Volume contains all seven Winslow Homer wood engraved plates (full or double page), plus all covers and centerfolds. Nice fresh clean example.

Very attractive antiquarian 1/2 leather binding, raised & gilt bands, gilt title lettering.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. 

Binding gently age worn but still appealing, leather and joints slightly rubbed but still supple, small gouge/ nick into spine near title at top of spine, remains overall very attractive as an object.

Text block paper is gently age toned as typical (but not brittle), internally book remains mostly clean, tight and sound. A book which has been taken care of but may/ does not look like new.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
