Rare ephemeral item given away to incoming Harvard Freshmen by the YMCA, the central group that worked with the Board of Preachers and others to promote strong Christian values as an adjunct to the University experience.
Publisher's emboss lettered red cloth binding.
Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding gently rubbed and age worn, remains quite clean, fresh and overall attractive as a 19th century pocket book.
Text block paper is gently toned, internally tight, clean, still well preserved.
Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
