POOR condition- Patterned cloth binding well age worn, front cover detached and taped back to book, cloth along joints well split, etc. Lacks title page. Book begins with Preface. Numerous wood engravings, some with crude early hand color.

Paper is gently toned, still clean & sound internally.

Still attractive on the shelf. Offered as acquired due to the seeming scarcity of the work.

The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.
