Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt lettering on contrasting red leather label. Front joint cracked, covers firm and well attached, small chip at spine head, paper uniformly age toned, book opens to half-title, but binding remains clean, tight, and sound.
Book remains well preserved and very attractive on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
