And:
Ireland for Happy Holidays.
Published c. 1925, Dublin by Croker & Co for Great Southern Railways (Ireland).
Folding pamphlet. Text in English. Illustrated throughout. Folding map at rear.
Publisher's pictorial paper wrappers. Nice lot x 2 of early 20th century Irish tourist brochures published soon after the creation of the Irish Free State (1922). The large map mentions it in the key.
Lot is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.
Paper gently age worn, slight rubbing, lot remains overall clean and attractive as an object.
Text block paper is gently toned, signs of handling, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
The fragile pamphlet and map display a pleasing and unique age patina and are in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this lot of two early 20th century Irish tourism items survives.
Covers measure c. 9" H x 3 3/4" W.
