Three different Annual FBI summary reports issued under J. Edgar Hoover. Topics include "Alien Enemy Control", Sedition, extortion, Civil Rights & Domestic violence, treason, espionage, sabotage, escaped prisoners of war, kidnapping, theft, explosions, deserters, fraud, bribery, perjury, finger prints and even White Slavery.
Lot of three years, 1943 with no cover sheet (begins pg. 2-23 Summary), 1945 & 1946 each 23 & 25 pages, plus a duplicate of 1946 that begins on pg. 2-23. Various contemporary colored pencil annotations to reports, indicating they were working copies in a government office.
Items are old and shows some signs of handling and time. Items are not new or in "new" condition.
Paper age worn, slight rubbing, remains overall clean and attractive as fragile survivals.
Text block paper is toned, signs of handling, small scattered spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
The scarce items display a pleasing and unique age patina and are in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
