Publisher's gift cloth binding, elaborate gilt title lettering, cover & spine decorations, color lithographed paste down cover design, all edges gilt.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound, some splitting of cloth along front joint, general overall light age wear, small piece of color paste down missing from front cover (at base).
Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina. Uniform light age toning, one tissue guard torn, still very clean.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
