Small chap book size item, a compilation of three separate works bound together, (the first three of six total found here, complete unto themselves).
Period 1/4 leather binding, smooth leather spine, gilt bands & title lettering, paper covered boards.
Binding remains tight, and sound, paper loss on corners and most of rear cover as often seen on paper covered juveniles of this era.
Text block remains overall tight, scattered small age spotting, and displays a pleasing age patina.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
