Period pocket vellum binding, early title hand writing on spine.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Binding is not new or in "new" condition but it does retain an appeal unlike anything new.

Binding gently soiled as typical, age worn, rear joint split long ago half way up and carefully repaired with thread by previous owner, cover tips worn down exposing board beneath, remains overall quite attractive as an object.

Text block is still square, tight, sound, book is intact, paper gently toned, mostly light scattered age spotting, sturdy book.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
