Period 1/4 red leather bindings, raised bands, gilt lettering, compartments gilt stamped with devices, marbled covers and end papers.
Very clean, tight, sound set, text blocks square.
Set remains well preserved and very attractive on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
