Early 20th century folding tourist pamphlet. Text in French & German. Illustrated with several maps.

Publisher's artistic pictorial color paper wrappers. Two oblong sheets, each folded into 4 panels, printed both sides, so 16 panels of printed imagery and tourist info text.

A charming color plan of Lugano showing streets, buildings and vicinity coastline, a strip map of railroad lines, a double page b&w photographic birds-eye view pair across the lake, a double page color map of the general lakes region surrounding Lake Lugano (north of Milano, Italy). The rear cover is a charming art nouveau styled map of Lugano vicinity, the front cover is a splendid art nouveau prospect view with a fashionable lady (art by C. Veccanti).

This scarce ephemeral early 20th century tourist item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.

Paper covers gently age worn, slight rubbing, remains overall quite clean and attractive as an object.

Text block paper is gently toned, minor signs of handling, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. A charming and well preserved souvenir.

Still attractive on the shelf. The fragile pamphlet displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
