Excellent oversized late-20th century color printed map. Not to be confused with their much more common small quarto size maps of this era. Excellent level of detail not possible on smaller maps. Includes inset maps of Mysore, Bangalore, and Madras.
The cartographic details seen here are found nowhere else in this unique level of detail or combination on other maps. These include features such as archaeological sites, places of touristical interest, pilgirimage sites, ruins, forts, palaces, tombs, mosques, Jain & Hindu cave temples, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist & Hindu Temples, rest houses, telephone call offices, air plane routes, bridges and unbridged river crossing, mines, power stations (existing & under construction), cottage industry centres, places to view from, airports ranked by capacity, transportation and roads ranked by level of development, nature, fishing, forrests, , etc.
