Lovely mid-19th century antique lithographed map with original hand color. Issued during the American Civil War and of note for this date.

Key at bottom includes railroads, canals, etc.

Nice decorative border unique to this transitional era of printing (see Laurie Johnson Atlas Project).

In attractive well preserved condition; overall dustiness, small age spot near center, minor light surface age wear and overall gentle uniform paper toning as typical, closed tear in bottom blank margin. Overall the printed area is clean, well preserved and very attractive.
