Massachusetts: Its Industrial, Agriculture, Recreational, and Economic Resources.
Published c. 1930, Boston by the Massachusetts Industrial Commission.
Large pictorial folding promotional map within a pamphlet. Text in English. Illustrated with small b&w photos and a nice art deco style art work cover.
Unfolds to large detailed map of the state which is note worthy for prominently featuring airports and air lines over printed in orange as well as "interurban" electric tram lines. Inset state maps display the principal industrial cities, population comparisons and recreational public lands.
Publisher's pictorial paper wrappers.
Brochure is about 90 years old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Paper gently age worn, slight rubbing, small scattered spotting at bottom right, remains overall clean and attractive as an object.
Still attractive on the shelf. The scarce pamphlet displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique item survives.
