Period publisher's paper covered boards, untrimmed deckled edges as issued. Front cover detached, binding shaken, signatures loose & separating, plates often with some offsetting. 

Rare book in any condition, an early American book with colored plates.

First of a two volume set, book contains plants listed alphabetically A-H. The second volume was issued 2 years later in 1830.
