Full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands & title lettering. Covers (likely not original) detached. Ex-libris.

Book is physically old and shows some heavy signs of handling and time. 

POOR physical condition- disbound, many pages and signatures loose/ detached, covers detached, plates heavily aged with tears.

Book displays a unique age patina, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive. Rare early juvenile microscope book.
