Very fine original antique engraving.

An uncommonly well engraved and beautifully printed engraved print from the mid-19th century by a master of engraving technique.

A lovely and subtly engraved view, with a fine range of tonality between darks and lights.

This particular type of subtle shading technique hand engraved upon metal plate process combined with hand inking is now essentially extinct as method of reproducing popular portrait images, rendering this printed leaf an interesting original artifact from a past era.

Printed on quality heavy stock period paper which may show typical gentle signs of age, perhaps some minor light spotting or foxing, but retains its inherent structural flexibility and soundness.

In Very Good or better antiquarian condition, mostly very clean overall, trivial minor age dustiness or surface wear -- please inspect enlargable scan closely, any noteworthy flaws to the printed surface area should be noticable within picture provided.
