Issued London, c. 1770-80, anonymous, likely for Cooke, Drakes Voyages or Hogg.

Interesting 18th century copper-engraved print, showing a group of Turkish Muslims in period dress long robes & turbans engaged in various postures & forms of prayer. Very uncommon depiction, ornate engraved surrounding border.

Some overall age toning and small scattered age spotting as typical for maps of this vintage, perhaps small minor paper flaws, but to our eyes and for most people, an entirely acceptable and nice looking example of this scarce almost 250 year old antique print relating to Islam.
