Issued c.1910-12 by Between the Acts- Little Cigars (American Tobacco Company Trust).
Lot of twenty two (22) most appealing miniature chromolithographed images, printed on heavy card stock, issued as a premium in the early 20th century in packs of small thin cigars.
Delightful assortment of images, all related by a theme of New York City theatres. Among the earliest tobacco cards issued in the United States. Virtually all show active street scenes with pedestrians, posters, horse drawn carts, etc.
Cards show signs of age, most still very fresh, clean and close to new condition, a few others slightly more worn, but overall well preserved.
Obviously uncommon/ scarce, close to unique in this type of unified thematic assortment.
Each card measures c. 2 1/2" H x 3" W.
