Period full calf, smooth spine gilt ruled into compartments, contrasting morocco gilt title label. Leather remains supple, surface crack on front board, binding is sturdy, tight and sound.
Text block well age toned as typical, many pages with corners curled or bent over. Book opens to title page.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
