Issued c. 1750-60, Paris Bellin.

Uncommon large old map of northern Great Britain. With original outline hand color and a large ornamental strapwork & swag cartouche at top right.

Includes a large portion of the Irish coastline, including Dublin. Strong nautical feel due to the rhumb lines and navigational measurements.

Map remains well preserved given the huge size but it has been folded for many years and thus there is some wear along the fold-lines, a short tear at bottom centerfold slightly into the map itself. Light overall age spotting, some uniform light toning to paper. Some light age wear or surface spotting/ soiling which is visible within the photos.
