Beautiful mid-19th century antique color lithographed print.

Depicts the decorated interior of Tammany Hall, site of the 1868 Democratic National Convention. This is widely considered to be the worst mainstream party convention in American history, one of the slogans being the breath-taking "This is a white man's country- Let white men rule!".

Light uniform paper age toning, original fold lines, short closed tear at left edge tab inset nicely mended on reverse with rice paper- overall remaining clean - a pleasing and well preserved visual example. Video shows condition much better than words.
