Engraved miniature map with original hand color. There are several variants of this charming little map, one should pay attention to the details to distinguish them. This example perhaps the earliest state.

Note how the vast Oregon Territory is depicted extending way up into modern Day British Columbia and touching at "Russian Settlement". British Possessions above a huge Missouri Territory which occupies most of the country west of Arkansas Territory and Missouri. Pre-Minnesota & Michigan, North West Territory still beside Indian tribes and the Great Lakes.

Clean example, minor signs of age, time and handling, nice overall.
