Wonderful original antique color lithograph print.
In Good+ to near VG [or better] condition: displays uniform age browning/ toning as typical, light scattered spotting or foxing, light edge wear, and small edge splits, which have been repaired on verso; overall the image remains clean and very attractive. Any defects may hopefully be clearly seen in the images.
Text on verso as issued-This is an original color lithographed sheet from this now very scarce 19th century American political periodical. Thus, it has printing on the back, which is the only way this image can be acquired.
Please examine the pictures closely as the picture forms a central part of the description. There is a zoom feature so you can see close up.
[note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws].
Great image entirely worthy of hanging for display. A delightful topical political depiction captured in a manner entirely unique to this era.
The printed area remains visually pleasing, a nice impression of an interesting historic cultural image.
A delightful print any collector, dealer, or institution would be happy to possess.
Original fold line as issued.
