Charming mid-18th century copper engraved birds eye view print. Circa. 1760-80 era.

Over 3 dozen figures inhabit the view, garden designs are clearly shown for the shrubbery, fountains, and so on.

With old decorative hand colored narrow paper frame border around print (could well be 18th century paper, affixed at the time of original sale?).

Print sheet paper uniformly well toned, tiny pin holes and a small hole at top left edge of clouds, old paper repairs on reverse, archival tape repair to split, various small minor edge nicks, tiny paper chipping, etc. -basically poor condition, but a noble survival and utterly unique, one of a kind item.

Note the early inking out of the (early handwritten) text to the right of the remaining engraved title.

Still with a great visual appeal as it as it survives. Offered as acquired. Very interesting and probably rare 18th century paper print survival.

Sheet measures c.9 3/4" H x 13 3/4" W.
