A visually appealing original antique wood-engraved print.

It is an original pictorial sheet extracted from a scarce 19th century illustrated popular weekly periodical.

Offered for the historical interest of the topic as well as the modern appeal of the printed image. The visual presentation is unique to the era and this type of printed popular newsprint image which is no longer being produced.

In Good+ [or better] condition: displays uniform age toning as typical for this age image. There may be light scattered spotting, possibly short minor edge splits now repaired on the back with small pieces of archival tape, some minor waviness and a soft crease across the center of the sheet. Any surface defects or nicks/ blank margin issues may hopefully be clearly seen in the scanned image. We wouldn't offer the sheet for sale if we felt it was not worthy of ownership or display.
