Lovely period decoratively gilt leather bindings, raised bands, gilt compartment decorations, gilt title lettering, gilt cover decorations. Bindings remain clean, tight, and sound, minor surface cracking at base of one front cover, all covers tight and sound.Old paper labels affixed to front covers identifying the contents.

Books remain well preserved and attractive on the shelf. Both display a pleasing and unique age patina and are in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
