Publisher's decorative cloth binding, gilt title lettering, embossed spine & cover decorations.
Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding age worn, spine ends worn with small chipping, front cover slightly bent/ cracked across middle, hinges loose, yet still remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is uniformly well age toned due to acidic nature of wood pulp paper stock, moderate old scattered spotting.
Still attractive on the shelf. Item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
