Remarkable original antique color lithograph art print.
A shop-stopping image.
It is an original pictorial sheet extracted from a rather scarce turn of the century illustrated German periodical known for it's avant garde artistic images.
In Good+ to near VG [or better] condition: displays uniform age toning as typical for this age image. The paper used appears to have been fairly acidic wood-pulp which has browned around the edges as typical. There may be light scattered spotting, possibly small minor edge repairs on the back with small pieces of archival tape.
Please examine the scan closely as the picture forms a central part of the item description, so please take a close look. There is a zoom feature for the picture, so you can inspect it close up.
Overall, the image area remains clean and very attractive- absolutely appropriate for framing and display. [note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws].
**The type of wood-pulp paper used by the periodical in this era is now somewhat delicate and needs to be handled carefully**
Great, unique old printed image entirely worthy of hanging for display or presenting to someone as a present.
Sheet measures c. 15 1/8" H x 10 3/4" W.
