The artistic theme of these 8 covers focuses on the Japanese armed forces and scenes of battle.

Loose covers (advertising printed on reverse) included : March 12th, 19th, 26th, May 21st & 28th, June 4th & 25th, July 30th, 1904. [Just the covers, not the entire issues].

Unique and desirable lot of eight (8) scarce early 20th Century Harper's Weekly color covers. 

Each is a fine artistic image done by one of the top commercial artists of the era, each is worthy of display. Excellent one of a kind lot for a collector of this war or theme. Harpers of this era are all scarce today, to assemble this same lot again could potentially take weeks, months or years of hunting.

Each cover remains well preserved, a nice looking example with pleasing age patina, any age flaws are minor and easy to forgive or overlook.
