pp. 410. three engraved plates throughout, including the frontis portrait.

Period French 1/4 leather, raised bands gilt, compartments stamped with devices and lettered, paper covered boards.

Binding lightly rubbed, but leather is supple, gilt is bright, contents with only minor light scattered age spotting.

Book remains well preserved and very attractive on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
