Period 1/2 leather binding, raised bands, gilt compartment decorations and title lettering, marbled covers and end papers, top edge gilt.

Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Small chip at spine head, small scuff spots to leather spine, covers still strongly and firmly attached, leather remains supple.

Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
