Period 1/2 leather book, embossed bands, gilt title lettering & compartment decorations, gilt pictorial cover decorations. All double page images are set in on tabs.
Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding rubbed and lightly age worn, joints scuffed a bit, cloth with some minor surface soiling, book still remains overall entirely pleasing and attractive as an object, gilt is bright.
Text block paper is toned but clean, internally well preserved, minor staining or soiling, any flaws of a minor type unworthy of specific mention.
Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
