270 pages. Text in German. Illustrated throughout, including many finely printed full page plates of views, plus a fold out b&w panorama. 

Loosely laid in at rear is a related supplemental 1918 booklet (53 pp.) titled "Alpine Dammerungsercheinungen by Meyer & Moser. This booklet has a beautiful tipped in color plate of the northern lights plus a chromolitho color fold-out of a sky horizon view.

Publisher's cloth binding, embossed title lettering.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn, joints slightly scuffed, remains overall attractive as an object.

Text block paper is gently toned, light to moderate scattered age spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.

Still attractive on the shelf. Books displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. 

Please review photos for more detail showing how this early 20th century book & supplement survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books. Flaws seen and described have been taken into account.
