Period leather binding, raised and gilt bands, gilt compartment decorations, gilt title lettering on contrasting red leather label, gilt ruled covers, marbled end papers, all edges and turn ins gilt.
Front cover is detached.
Book remains attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Contents clean with scattered age staining and spotting.
