Late 19th century 1/4 leather binding, complete loss of leather on spine, cloth covers. With former institutional book plate, title page stamped, all plates with old rubber stamp on reverse
Volume four (4) of a four (4) volume set. This volume complete unto itself and with wonderful content.
Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding well age worn.
Paper is gently toned, still clean, tight, sound internally.
Still attractive on the shelf. The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.Â
