Shortly after this date, Kneass became chief engraver to the U.S. Mint. Extensive historical text on three sides, including a long list at right of Celebrated Battles.
Paper and image remains clean and well preserved with a fine patina and visual appeal. Top blank margin dark stained near centerfold, primarily in blank margin.
