Fascinating and uncommon late 17th century antique engraved map.

Title cartouche lower right.

Clean dark impression. A 5 1/2" tear from right edge (just above cartouche) cleanly mended on back with paper, tear now easy to overlook, miss, or forgive visually.

Splendid appearance, fascinating mostly speculative interior details with long rivers, mountain chains and city symbols which do not at all correpond to reality as it then existed.
