Interesting very basic little map, showing the world as little more than outline shapes. Note worthy for the early date within American cartographic production.
Charming little early 19th century antique American produced map. Engraved with beautiful full hand color.
New Holland (Australia) is shown with an unfinished southern coastline, as is the northwest region obove Canada and in part of Alaska.
Paper remains well preserved, keeping in mind it is not modern or new, so minor flaws to paper unworthy of specific mention are sometimes to be expected. Clean example with a lovely visual appearance.
Original fold lines as issued. Short closed split at bottom left fold line.
Sheet measures c. 10 1/2" x 8 3/8".
Printed area measures c. 9 5/8" x 7".
