The geographies each contain a profusion of color maps and b&w images, wood engraved illustrations often accompany the text. Three bound in period cloth bindings with elaborate and ornate cover designs, two with leather spines.

Various signs of age, handling and old repairs, some edge tears, soiling, etc., but overall well preserved and pleasing to browse through.

Great assortment of maps, views and ethnographic images of the entire world in the second half of the nineteenth century.
