468 pages. Text in Russian. Illustrated throughout 8 folding maps (may lack a map or two), folding views, many small b&w photos.
Publisher's cloth binding, gilt title lettering. Rare in any condition.
Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding heavily age worn, staining, cloth splitting along joints, some of the large folding color maps with long tears, one city plan slightly defective at edge, some pages detached, etc.
Paper is uniformly toned, still clean, tight, sound internally.
Still attractive on the shelf. The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.
