Text block of a rare 18th century juvenile book, disbound and now loosely housed within an attractive full leather binding from 1834.

Geographical 1834 Annual leather binding, smooth spine, gilt title lettering, embossed cover designs. Binding not original to text block but text block fits into it snugly and is only a sliver larger than the binding.

Book is physically old and shows some clear heavy signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn but still appealing, leather rubbed but still supple, joints scuffed with short splitting at joint ends, remains overall attractive as an object.

First leaf is title page of book, paper is toned, disbound signatures, no maps within, a couple pages with narrow blank margins (trimmed down). Offered only as a fascinating and rare 18th century juvenile book 

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the obvious age flaws fairly easy to overlook or forgive.
