Armour's Pan-American Atlas of the World.
Published 1901, Chicago by Armour & Company.
32 pages. Text in English. Nine mostly double page color maps interspersed with numerous full page decorative views of the Fair.

Large format promotional atlas-like cartographic novelty item from this major meat packing company. Rare.

Publisher's saddle stitched thin card stock paper wrappers, embossed pictorial cover decorations. The maps all relate to World, Caribbean, America, Central America and South America with regions.

Centerfold is a wonderful double page color advertisement which seems to show virtually all of the company's products with the labels.

Booklet is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn, staples rusted, signs of handling but nothing offensive or severe, remains overall clean, attractive as an object.

Paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.

Still attractive on the shelf. The atlas displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.

Please review photos for more detail showing how this item survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books and ephemera of all types. Flaws seen and described have been taken into account.

Book Measures c. 14" H x 11" W.
