66 pages. Text in French. Illustrated with 12 nice hand colored lithographs. (typical versions of this work have tinted lithographs only, without the pleasing and strong hand coloring).

Publisher's cloth binding, gilt title lettering & cover decorations.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding well age worn- covers detached from text block and displaying evidence of old damp staining. Splitting to joints at spine ends, spotting, yet book remains overall attractive as an object.

Title page with edge tears and foxed, loose, various spotting and staining throughout, text block loose and coming unsewn. Plates remain mostly clean. Still a nice book despite the physical condition due to the splendid visual appeal of the hand colored plates..

Still attractive on the shelf. The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.
