Period gift leather binding, embossed spine and cover decorations, gilt title lettering, all edges gilt. Text block slightly shaken. Interior contents display moderate to heavy age toning and spotting throughout.

Of interest primarily for the wonderful pre-1850 American embossed binding.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
