Issued for Cook's third voyage, this coastline of Alaska and the Bering Strait being extensively examined for a Northwest Passage. Tracks of the ship with sounding depths given extensive detail, some interior terrain features shown.

Light uniform paper age toning, original fold lines, remaining quite clean and fresh - a pleasing and well preserved visual example.

Much scarcer than the English language versions of the era.
