Beautiful and uncommon/ scarce miniature 17th century engraved urban map. 

Key at top left identifies 20 specific locations within the city plan and includes the recent expansion of the canal system.Tiny buildings and many early wooden windmills are shown. The harbor is populated with dozens of tiny tall mast sailing ships. Compass rose orients north toward bottom right corner.

A clean, richly printed and well preserved example. Original fold lines as issued.

Appealing little early city map with wide margins all around and displaying a pleasing age patina.

Sheet measures c. 5 1/4" x 7 1/2".

Printed area measures c. 4 3/4" x 6 3/4".
