Lovely antique lithographed 2 sheet map with original hand color.

In Good or better condition, minor light surface age wear and toning as typical, some faint minor foxing in the blank margins, overall the image is clean, well preserved and very attractive.

Curious map in that the two sheets obviously belong together, they were originally side by side within an atlas, but the dimensions do not match up. The top map is wider with no blank margins.

Inset of Galapagos islands, long two column list lower left naming many mountains with heights.

Each sheet measures c. 17" x 14 1/2"

Engraved areas measure c. 17" W x 13 1/2"

Combined sheets measure 17" x 29"
